Temporary Accountant - Remote

Overview

This is a 6-month contract to assist with Sapiens UAT.

In Short

• The Temporary Accountant will work directly with the Assistant Divisional Controller on the Sapiens Reinsurance PRO system implementation initiative.
• Responsible for reviewing/validating premium and loss cessions calculated by Reinsurance PRO.
• Ensure system accuracy and confirm calculations tie to Program Accountants manual billings.
• Assist in validating system premium and loss calculations ensuring accurate results by program.
• Investigate discrepancies between system calculations versus manual processing results.
• Collaborate with program accounting staff and IT as needed to assist with data validation.
• Conduct high level analysis of system Pre-Production versus Production and validate results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within the finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reconciliation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
