Reinsurance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Reinsurance Analyst works collaboratively as a part of the Reinsurance team and is responsible for securing insurance and reinsurance from an array of worldwide markets for insurance companies and related service providers located throughout the U.S.

In Short

• Works on the creation of underwriting information requests for clients and prospects
• Develops insurance and reinsurance submissions efficiently and accurately
• Maintains lists of market and transmit reinsurance and carrier submissions
• Responds timely to client and reinsurer requests for information
• Assist in developing client and prospect presentations
• Work with external service providers to complete client-specific projects
• Assist with the management of expenses, time, services, etc. to maximize profits
• Assist with coordinating with internal staff on the production of placement slips, cover notes, contracts, addenda, and miscellaneous agreements, as needed
• Follow-up on contract documentation, ensuring the timely flow of materials
• Implement new and renewal contracts internally in accordance with Company procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Business/Statistics focus preferred)
• Entry level, with no experience.
• Write succinctly, speak cogently, and utilize quantitative analytical skills proficiently
• Self-starter, but enjoys being part of a team
• Well organized, able to handle several tasks at once and meet targeted deadlines
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point with ease
