Overview

As a Health Guide at Transcarent, you will ensure that all Members have an excellent experience using our services and products, guiding them through their healthcare journey.

In Short

• Serve as a trusted advisor to Transcarent Members.
• Leverage customer service and motivational interviewing skills.
• Provide motivation, guidance, support, and encouragement.
• Assist Members in achieving a healthy vision for their health journey.
• Provide comprehensive support including education and navigation.
• Understand common clinical conditions to offer guidance.
• Demonstrate an ability to connect with Members across all communication channels.
• Adapt communication styles to accommodate unique needs of each Member.
• Demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health or healthcare preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service or patient-facing roles.
• Available to work Monday - Friday, 11:30a - 8:00p MST.
• Intermediate understanding of the healthcare system.
• Experience with benefits navigation in a call center environment.
• Passionate about improving the healthcare system.
• Organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems using critical thinking.
• Intermediate proficiency in PC-based applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A designated, distraction-free home office space with high-speed internet.
