We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team and provide essential support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance due to aging, illness, or disability. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring their well-being and promoting a sense of independence. Your responsibilities will include helping with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship, all while building trusting relationships with clients and their families.

In Short

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any side effects or reactions.
• Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to improve their emotional well-being.
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification as a Home Health Aide is preferred.
• Previous experience in a home care or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and families.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients as needed.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
