Warehouse Senior Industrial Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position supports the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture across the operation by actively applying continuous improvement methods to support new and existing operations.

In Short

• Identify and drive change within the operation through data-driven CI, Engineering, and Automation efforts.
• Collects data and performs statistical analysis.
• Maps and documents processes.
• Independently identifies process gaps and recommends improvements.
• Develop and manage a continuous improvement plan.
• Drive process improvement activities to achieve business metrics.
• Manage CI and engineering projects.
• Regularly interact with operations management and customers.
• Coach employees in CI, Quality Assurance, and Lean principles.
• Provide reports to measure progress against objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required.
• Five years of related work experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
• Intermediate knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
• Experience with Lean methods, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen.
• Understanding of core engineering and data analysis functions.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management operations and design tools.
• Ability to manage cross-functional CI projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
