Experienced Elearning Course Developer (Responsive Elearning) - Remote

Overview

TorranceLearning is leading the design and development of a large, self-paced elearning curriculum for a critical Federal agency initiative. We’re seeking several experienced elearning course developers to join a cross-functional team of instructional designers, visual designers, and learning technology specialists.

In Short

• Build responsive elearning modules from build-ready storyboards.
• Implement layouts, interactions, assessments, and completion rules.
• Ensure modules meet Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and quality assurance teams.
• Work in a high-volume, iterative build environment.
• Utilize tools like dominKnow Flow and other modern authoring platforms.
• Participate in formal review cycles and client feedback sessions.
• Deliver builds that meet established quality and technical standards.
• Secure Public Trust clearance prior to contract start.
• Available for collaboration during Eastern Time business hours.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional elearning development experience.
• Experience with mobile-first or responsive design.
• Familiarity with SCORM packaging and xAPI concepts.
• Ability to work within established templates and standards.
• Experience in an iterative/Agile instructional design environment.
• Strong attention to detail and QA mindset.
• Effective communication skills and collaborative working style.
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills.
