Overview

As a Staff Mobile Engineer at Topstep, you will build our mobile trading platform using React Native, establish mobile architecture, and mentor engineers to drive ongoing mobile development.

In Short

Lead the mobile MVP effort to establish a React Native application.
Set technical direction for mobile architecture and component design.
Establish engineering patterns for React Native development.
Own end-to-end mobile features from design to release.
Partner with product and design teams to enhance user experience.
Drive mobile quality and performance through testing and monitoring.
Mentor engineers on React Native best practices.
Champion mobile-first thinking across the organization.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in mobile applications.
Deep expertise in React Native and related technologies.
Strong understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript.
Experience with cross-platform mobile development.
GraphQL client integration experience.
Knowledge of mobile performance optimization.
Experience with production mobile app analytics and debugging.
Testing mindset with experience in unit and integration tests.
Understanding of mobile CI/CD processes.
