Recruitment Manager - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Recruitment Manager to own the full tutor hiring pipeline for Toolkit Tutors across New York City. You’ll work remotely most of the time, but you’ll also represent the company at select in-person events (recruitment fairs, tutor trainings, partner-school meetings).

In Short

• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of K-12 tutors for various subjects.
• Source candidates through job boards, college career centers, and professional networks.
• Screen resumés and conduct interviews to assess instructional skills.
• Coordinate background and reference checks.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
• Track funnel metrics and present dashboards to leadership.
• Partner with the Program Manager to forecast staffing needs.
• Represent Toolkit Tutors at recruitment fairs and events.
• Document recruitment processes for scalability.

Requirements

• Experience in recruitment, preferably in education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems.
• Analytical skills for tracking and reporting metrics.
• Willingness to attend occasional in-person events.
