Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting - Remote

Overview

Toast is looking for a highly-motivated technical accounting and external reporting professional to join its dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to enhance technical accounting skills and transition out of public accounting.

In Short

• Assist in preparing the Company’s external reporting filings.
• Coordinate the quarterly financial close and audit process.
• Research and document new GAAP and disclosure matters.
• Monitor changes to the accounting environment.
• Assist with major corporate events and complex accounting matters.
• Document internal controls for SOX compliance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Maintain corporate accounting processes for SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA candidate eligibility required (CPA preferred).
• 4+ years of financial accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Fintech / technology industry experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
