Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting is a key role at Cars Commerce, responsible for assisting in the preparation of SEC filings and financial reporting, while driving efficiencies and collaborating with various departments.

In Short

• Assist in preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting for management.
• Act as a key finance resource related to the General Ledger system.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in collaboration with other departments.
• Execute internal controls over financial reporting.
• Work with auditors for efficient review processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to assist the Finance organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of financial reporting or public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented approach with a positive work style.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
