Management Company Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Receive and initiate payment of client invoices via bank website and/or online tools such as Bill.com or Brex.
• Review and approve client expense reports with adherence to each company’s unique expense policy.
• Track, process, and reconcile all transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support team managers in meeting deadlines and providing relevant details to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification.
• Experience in partnership and/or fund accounting (2-5 years).
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Superior proficiency with MS Excel and QuickBooks Online.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Bill.com, Brex, and Expensify.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task while handling daily client needs.
• Interest in delivering superior client service.
• Proof of suitable workspace for remote employment.
