Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

At Tinybird, we help developers and data teams take flight by unlocking the power of real-time data to quickly build data pipelines and innovative data products. We are looking for someone to help us scale and maintain the reliability and elasticity of our software and infrastructure.

In Short

• Design, build, and run distributed Cloud architectures.
• Work with technologies like OpenResty, Varnish, Redis, Python, and ClickHouse.
• Participate in on-call duties and understand client issues.
• Focus on high-availability and elasticity as customer base grows.
• Improve observability and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with the product team on system architecture.
• Document insights and solutions for team understanding.
• Recommend technologies for various challenges.
• Experience with ClickHouse is a plus.
• Emphasize speed and iteration in decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience with large-scale web applications.
• Programming skills in Python and C++.
• Accountable and enthusiastic about platform management.
• Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration.
• Bias for action and delivery.
• Think in terms of systems and edge cases.
• Ability to communicate effectively within the team.
• Experience with OpenResty, Varnish, Redis, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience rolling out database systems at scale.
