Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

Keeper is hiring a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our DevOps team. This can be a 100% remote position from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

In Short

• Responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of software systems.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD infrastructure.
• Monitor critical services to prevent and resolve outages.
• Manage infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Support compliance efforts for security standards.
• Collaborate with development teams for optimal build and release pipelines.
• Troubleshoot system performance and reliability issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Contribute to monitoring and alerting systems.
• Promote a culture of reliability across teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and infrastructure management tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of monitoring tools.
• Experience with Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows systems.
• In-depth knowledge of networking and security best practices.
• Effective communication skills within a cross-functional team.
• Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
