Overview

As a Database Support Engineer at TigerData, you will provide deep technical support and interact with customers daily, focusing on PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB.

In Short

• Provide technical support for TimescaleDB and PostgreSQL.
• Manage support cases from beginning to end.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure their success.
• Work during the evening weekend shift from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am Brazil Standard Time.
• Be familiar with TimescaleDB and its features.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Experience with relational databases is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts is a plus.
• Must be able to express patience and empathy in troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Technical support experience with external customers.
• Aptitude for understanding and learning new software products.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
