Senior Operations Analyst, Legal, Risk & Compliance - Remote

Overview

The Senior Operations Analyst manages operational activities for the Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) department and reports directly to the Senior Director, Legal, with a dotted‑line reporting relationship to the Senior Director, Compliance. The Senior Operations Analyst oversees a range of matters with varying levels of complexity, with a primary focus on operational execution, including the design and advancement of workflows across both teams to support departmental objectives.

In Short

• Own and improve the LRC intake, prioritization, and service delivery framework.
• Maintain the LRC calendar, mail, and execute agendas for meetings.
• Manage review and payment processing for LRC matters.
• Design and manage LRC knowledge systems.
• Support and track document productions and similar legal matters.
• Research nonprofit regulatory requirements and assess operational impact.
• Evaluate tracking and reporting of regulated activities.
• Define and execute contract intake criteria and standards.
• Develop recommendations for contract policies and processes.
• Evaluate vendor cost effectiveness.

Requirements

• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience drafting legal or formal memoranda.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Strong team player willing to assist with challenges.
• 5 years of paralegal or legal compliance experience.
• Basic knowledge of 501(c)(3) legal and regulatory laws.
• Experience handling confidential communications.
