Overview

As an Offensive Security Engineer at Tide, you will be part of a team responsible for securing the company and its members by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective remediation strategies.

In Short

• Review web/mobile applications and source code for vulnerabilities.
• Identify gaps in controls in Cloud infrastructure.
• Research and develop security tools and techniques.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical teams.
• Coach engineers on offensive security principles.
• Plan and scope internal/external pen-testing.
• Support Incident Response with red team activities.
• Work collaboratively with internal security and engineering teams.
• Passionate about secure application design.
• Experience in the Fintech sector is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in attack simulation and vulnerability research.
• Strong experience in security assessments on Cloud technologies.
• Comfortable with writing tooling in Python, Java, Go, etc.
• Exposure to LLM testing.
• Ability to explain security issues to various stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-scaling business.
• Passionate about security and secure application design.
• Experience with mobile/web applications and APIs.
• Experience with Mac/Windows security assessments.
• Ability to think critically about technical risks.
