Data Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for building and running the data pipelines and services that are required to support marketing and business functions, reporting and decision-making.

In Short

• Developing end to end ETL/ELT Pipeline working with Data Analysts of business Function.
• Designing, developing, and implementing scalable, automated processes for data extraction, processing, and analysis in a Data Mesh architecture.
• Translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Providing troubleshooting and diagnosis to architecture and design challenges.
• Improving data pipeline delivery.
• Owning the delivery of data models and reports end to end.
• Performing exploratory data analysis to identify data quality issues.
• Working with Data Analysts to ensure data feeds are optimised.
• Discovering, transforming, testing, deploying and documenting data sources.
• Championing data warehouse governance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of extensive development experience using snowflake or similar data warehouse technology.
• Working experience with dbt and modern data stack technologies.
• Experience in agile processes, such as SCRUM.
• Extensive experience in writing advanced SQL statements.
• Experience in Data Ingestion techniques.
• Experience in data modelling and optimisation.
• Experience in data mining and ETL.
• Experience in architecting analytical databases.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Business-level English and good communication skills.
