Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Backend Engineer at Tide, you will contribute to our event-driven Microservice Architecture, designing, building, and maintaining services that empower small businesses.

In Short

• Contribute to event-driven Microservice Architecture.
• Use Java 17, Spring Boot, and JOOQ to build services.
• Expose and consume RESTful APIs.
• Utilize SNS, SQS, and Kafka for event handling.
• Work with PostgreSQL via Aurora as the primary datastore.
• Deploy services to Production frequently.
• Experience modern GitOps using ArgoCD.
• Monitor services using DataDog.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to meet user needs.

Requirements

• Experience building server-side applications.
• Knowledge of backend frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience in cloud-native environments.
• Mindset for delivering secure and well-documented software.
