Design, create, and maintain software and systems to improve availability and scalability.
Set architectural direction of infrastructure and platform services.
Implement tools and processes for deployment and infrastructure management.
Troubleshoot and debug critical systems throughout the SDLC.
Participate in capacity planning and demand forecasting.
Contribute to the evolution of capabilities for the engineering platform.
Participate in rotating on-call duties.

Requirements

Fluency in AWS and Linux.
Expertise in large-scale distributed systems and web technologies.
Ability to decompose complex problems and understand tradeoffs.
Knowledge of operating and observing distributed systems in cloud environments.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, PHP, and JavaScript.
Effective communication skills with cross-functional partners.
Passion for reducing toil and improving developer experience.
