Airtasker is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to manage core infrastructure and support product teams with observability and deployment tooling.

In Short

Own the core infrastructure and platform.
Provide tooling for product teams.
Support best practices for services and systems.
Manage SLOs with feature teams.
Consult on observability and monitor production systems.
Ensure consistent software deployment and resource provision.
Govern resources and environment access.
Work with Platform Excellence team on tooling and automation.
Build processes for emergency response and incident management.
Collaborate with system architects on performance and security.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure.
Experience with managing Kubernetes Clusters.
Industry experience with Terraform.
Experience in programming languages like Kotlin, Java, Python, etc.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to debug and optimize code.
Good knowledge of system security and incident management.
