Vice President of Engineering - Remote

As the Vice President of Engineering at ThriveCart, you will lead our engineering team to build and scale our high-performance eCommerce platform. You’ll drive architectural decisions, ensure best practices in development, and cultivate a culture of innovation and technical excellence. • Oversee infrastructure, system architecture, and DevOps strategies to ensure a reliable and scalable platform.
• Implement and enforce best practices for software development, including CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and security protocols.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating new technologies and methodologies to keep ThriveCart at the forefront of eCommerce innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of scaling and leading engineering teams in a SaaS or eCommerce environment.
• Deep expertise in modern web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar), and software architecture best practices.
• Experience with payment processing, checkout systems, or related eCommerce technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a high-growth setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align engineering efforts with business goals.
