Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

ThriveCart is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps engineer responsible for securing and maintaining its e-commerce platform infrastructure, deployment automation, and production observability.

In Short

• Implement and maintain security scanning in CI/CD.
• Harden AWS infrastructure and manage network segmentation.
• Monitor security advisories and coordinate patching.
• Manage encryption and secure compute resources.
• Maintain CloudWatch dashboards and configure security alerts.
• Manage AWS resources via Terraform.
• Administer MariaDB databases and maintain Docker environments.
• Support compliance requirements and manage evidence collection.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on security tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotation for security alerts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in production operations for web apps.
• Experience implementing security controls in AWS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Database administration experience with MariaDB/MySQL.
• Experience with DDoS mitigation and incident response.
