Remote Math Teacher (Pre-K to K)

Overview

Think Academy U.S. is seeking a Part-Time Math Teacher to teach lower elementary-level mathematics virtually to students from Preschool to Kindergarten.

In Short

• Teach lower elementary-level mathematics virtually.
• Engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum.
• Grade homework and provide essential teaching-related services.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Work 20-30 hours per week, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Education or STEM-related majors preferred.
• Prior math teaching experience is a plus.
• Elementary math competition learning or teaching experience is a plus.
• Commit to training in November and at least two semesters of teaching.
• Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Passionate about teaching and education, responsible, and good with kids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

• Teaching Fee: $33/hour; assigned 3-7 classes per week.
• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour for preparation and after-class services.
• Student Retention Bonus targeted at 15% of total teaching fee for long-term classes.
