Part-Time Remote Math Teacher

Overview

Think Academy U.S. is looking for a Part-Time Remote Math Teacher to work with our students from kindergarten to 8th grade, focusing on understanding math concepts and delivering engaging lessons.

In Short

• Teach mathematics virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.
• Engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
• Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum.
• Grade homework and provide essential teaching-related services.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Work 20-40 hours per week, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Education or STEM-related majors preferred.
• Prior math teaching experience is a plus.
• Commit to at least two semesters of teaching starting from 2024 Fall Semester.
• Available to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
• Passionate about teaching and education, responsible, and good with kids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

• Teaching Fee: $30-$35/hour; assigned 3-7 classes per week.
• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour for preparation and after-class services.
• Student Retention Bonus targeted at 15% of total teaching fee for long-term classes.
