Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payables Specialist will be responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.

In Short

• Review, code, and process supplier invoices in accordance with internal policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure timely preparation and processing of payments.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing processes, including AP accruals.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure prompt follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Support audits and financial reviews with relevant documentation.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or ACCA Level II/III certification.
• 2-4 years experience in an accounts payable or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payables processes.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
