We're seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data org! This person will be responsible for helping us understand and curate our data. You will immediately contribute to the goal of using our rich datasets to make smarter business decisions. You should be ready to take ownership and be thrilled about having broad responsibilities within a fast-growing company in an extensive industry.

In Short

  • Ensure data is modeled properly for dashboard and data solution development.
  • Lead the design and development of master data models.
  • Integrate additional data sets from independent sources.
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to identify data needs.
  • Detail data models and transformations for visibility.
  • Write tests around data sets.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional data engineering experience.
  • Programming experience in Python (or similar scripting languages).
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with engineering process tools like GitHub and GitLab.
  • Experience with SQL, Data Warehouses (Snowflake), BI platforms (Looker, Tableau), and ETL tools.
  • Technical expertise in crafting data models with attention to detail.
  • Ability to consult on project requirements and build technical design documents.
