Overview

The Pre-certification Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service while processing patient demographic and insurance information efficiently and accurately within the Revenue Cycle at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or healthcare.
• Knowledge of Windows, Excel, and internet navigation.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of registration and billing policies.
• Meet ongoing educational and health requirements.
• Demonstrate competency in daily functions.
