The Manager of Inpatient Coding & Clinical Documentation Integrity Services is responsible for overseeing the coding accuracy and compliance of inpatient medical records while managing a team of coding specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field.
  • 7 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of coding guidelines and compliance policies.
  • Proficiency in auditing coding accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
  • Ability to develop and deliver education tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
