Overview

The Student Advocacy Advisor plays a crucial role in helping students navigate their insurance coverage, providing guidance and support for insurance-related challenges.

In Short

• Assist students with health insurance-related questions and education.
• Help navigate the insurance claims process.
• Advocate for students in disputes with providers.
• Connect students with appropriate program resources.
• Assess students' insurance needs for adequate coverage.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work primarily at the Lewer Administrative Offices with some remote work.
• Maintain effective communication via multiple channels.
• Support a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Contribute to the organization’s business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience in client care or account management.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or education is preferred.
• Life and health insurance license required within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM systems is beneficial.
