Student Success Advisor - Remote

Overview

The Student Success Advisor’s role is to identify, support, and encourage students through successful completion of the program. They work collaboratively with instructors and all CIAT departments to provide guidance and support to students.

In Short

• Provide positive motivation, nurturing, and academic advising support to improve student satisfaction and retention.
• Resolve student inquiries via phone, SMS, email, online support portal, and live chat channels.
• Meet or exceed weekly outreach targets to effectively build relationships with assigned students.
• Monitor attendance and grades, assist at-risk students with support.
• Collaborate with instructors and various departments to resolve student inquiries.
• Conduct new student orientation and welcome calls.
• Document all interactions with students within internal systems.
• Adhere to compliance requirements to ensure policies and procedures are met.
• Participate in planning and promoting school events.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in academic advising preferred.
• Strong commitment to providing superior service to students.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Proficient in MS Office software products.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrated problem-resolution skills.
• Position may require work outside of normal business hours.
