Overview

Silvers HR is seeking a motivated and talented Junior Human Resources Consultant to join our dynamic team, where you will collaborate with experienced HR professionals on various HR consulting projects.

In Short

  • Provide guidance on HR functions including employee relations and compliance.
  • Consult on employee relations issues and performance management.
  • Coach client managers on employment laws and policies.
  • Develop and review HR documents for compliance.
  • Conduct HR Practices Reviews and offer training resources.
  • Facilitate creation of customized employee handbooks.
  • Organize client work plans and maintain relationships.
  • Contribute articles to the Silvers HR Newsletter.
  • Generate reports on client activities.
  • Represent Silvers HR at community and industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience focusing on California laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within Northern California.
  • Experience in employee relations and policy development.
  • Research and analysis skills for HR practices.
  • Training experience in harassment prevention.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in a virtual team environment.
