Overview

The Senior Risk Officer - Investment Management will play a key role in the delivery of risk strategy and execution within Huntington’s Broker/Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor, and Trust Investment Management businesses.

• Serve as a core advisor to Huntington Financial Advisors and Trust Investment Management.
• Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation and policy development.
• Ensure effective risk governance and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments across the Wealth organization.
• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Assess Strategic Risk and conduct quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
• Communicate risk-related information to stakeholders.
• Challenge and influence business and risk partners on complex risk issues.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with other Business Risk Officers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of related experience in investment management/financial advisory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Expertise in Risk Management across multiple pillars.
• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with MS Office products.
• FINRA Series 7 and 24 Licenses preferred.
• CFP, CFA, or similar certifications preferred.
• Broad industry and networking knowledge preferred.
