Overview

The Medical Assistant II position at Baptist Health involves providing quality patient care and assisting in the delivery of patient education while managing various tasks under the supervision of a physician.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training through a certificate program or 2 years of experience.
• Preferred experience in LPN, Lab, Radiology, or similar fields.
• CMA or RMA preferred; BLS required.
• Knowledge of scheduling for diagnostic tests/lab orders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and coworkers.
• Proficiency in clinical tests and written assessments.
• Ability to handle various physical demands of the job.
• Exposure to medical equipment and hazardous conditions.
