Overview

The Behavioral Health Clinician at Baptist Health is responsible for planning and implementing therapy services, conducting assessments, and providing individual, group, and family therapy as part of an interdisciplinary team.

In Short

  • Plan and implement therapy services for Crossbridge.
  • Conduct assessments and provide group, individual, and family therapy.
  • Responsible for case management and collaborative discharge planning.
  • May serve as a preceptor for Behavioral Health interns.
  • Requires a Master's degree in a related field.
  • Active professional licenses are required (LMSW, LICSW, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria and medical terminology is preferred.
  • Ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain professionalism.
  • Work may require after hours and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Prior experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
  • Active LMSW, LICSW, ALC, LPC, or LMFT required.
  • SECURE and BLS certifications required.
  • Ability to evaluate psycho-social functioning.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Must pass designated crisis intervention training.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
