Behavioral Health Clinician - Remote

Overview

UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others! We are currently seeking a full-time (35hr) Clinician to provide an array of intensive, clinical gambling treatment services for individuals, age 18 years or older, who exhibit problem or pathological gambling behavior as well as the individual’s family and significant other.

In Short

• Provide clinical gambling assessment and continuum of client-centered care treatment.
• Conduct initial appointments within 48 hours of initial contact.
• Maintain documentation standards for all records required by agency licensees.
• Collaborate with Peer Counselors and other providers to coordinate client care.
• Assess level of risk and appropriate level of care for clients in crisis.

Requirements

• Master's degree (MA, MFT, MSW).
• Open to experienced clinicians and new graduates.
• CT State Licensure eligible for LCSW, LMFT, LPC.
• Strong computer skills including effective use of electronic health record systems.
• Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Willingness to conduct outreach events outside of the office.
• Experience treating addictions is preferred.
