Overview

The Senior Underwriter will partner with brokers to provide management liability and surety products, focusing on profitability and growth while assessing complex risks.

• Partner with brokers to provide various insurance coverages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related discipline.
• 6-8 years of finance-related or underwriting experience.
• Deep knowledge of management liability and surety products.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills with brokers.
• Valid driver’s license or alternative transportation.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Experience in a regulatory environment.
• Associateship of Canadian Surety Bonding designation is a plus.
