In Short

• Provide efficient service to clients while maintaining quality standards.
• A positive approach to loan approvals is expected.
• Underwrite new loan files according to departmental standards.
• Review conditions within stated turn times.
• Complete underwriting checklists for every file reviewed.
• Maintain accurate updates in the Encompass system.
• Review all files considered for decline with the Operations Manager.
• Utilize the conversation log for all communications.
• Train and support staff in loan file preparation.
• Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific time.

Requirements

• 3 years of recent Non QM Underwriting experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Non-QM program guidelines.
• Prior experience with Account Executives and Loan Officers.
• Solid time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• High proficiency in mortgage loan processing systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Attention to detail and good judgment in decision-making.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in building relationships with staff and personnel.
