• The Program Manager 2 is responsible for facilitating and leading program capture, development, planning and execution across the Air Force Strategic Systems portfolio.
• Accountable for developing and managing new programs and establishing new programmatic relationships.
• Responsible for ideating and developing coherent solutions through critical thinking.
• Proficient in earned value, risk, and change management.
• Oversees program budget and schedules.
• Responsible for program growth and marketing new technology.
• Ensures contractual deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Develops technical program management best practices and provides training to project teams.
• Monitors dependencies across multiple inter-related technical projects.
• Reports consolidated technical project status and financial information to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent discipline required.
• 5-7 years program related experience in functional or program management.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
• Strong relationship building and persuasive skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Deep expertise in leading program execution and managing customer engagement.
• Experience in R&D technology development.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
