Entry-Level Linux System Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking an entry-level Linux System Administrator to support installations, perform environment setup, and maintain operational readiness within various operating systems and hardware interfaces.

In Short

• Assist in system integration and hardware/software installation.
• Configuration and disposition of servers and workstations.
• Provide support for design, validation, and implementation of computing delivery systems.
• Perform system monitoring, backup, and restore procedures.
• Administer user access according to security requirements.
• Perform problem resolution and troubleshooting.
• Requires active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience with current Linux versions and operating systems.
• Possession or willingness to obtain Security+ certification.
• Education in engineering, computer science, or related fields.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Tier 5 Investigation.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience in scripting and automation (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with containers and virtualization.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to meet export control compliance requirements.
