Overview

The Backroom Offshoring Inc. is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team, focusing on work-life balance and providing competitive salaries. This role involves managing financial records and payroll for clients in New Zealand.

In Short

  • Prepare GST reports and returns for NZ clients.
  • Manage payroll for 10 employees weekly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable.
  • Run weekly sales and cashflow reports.
  • Collaborate on annual accounts preparation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure accurate onboarding and documentation.
  • Assist with e-commerce support tasks.
  • Support team with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Experience with New Zealand or Australian companies.
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and familiarity with Xero preferred.
  • Interest in design and soft skills in graphic design preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team player with good time management skills.
