Supervising Producer - Remote

Overview

The Supervising Producer will set the standard for Reporter Video in terms of visuals, filming, and editing, working remotely to assist video producers and cultivate relationships with reporters.

In Short

• Develop and implement visual standards for reporter videos.
• Manage freelancers for field assignments.
• Provide guidance on editing and filming standards.
• Identify and develop video story ideas.
• Train reporters on filming best practices.
• Collaborate with reporters to create compelling video stories.
• Produce 1-2 videos a week featuring Athletic reporters.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with news video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Firm understanding of Sony cameras and filming practices.
• Experience guiding reporters through the production process.
• Ability to work with animators for motion elements.
• 7+ years of video production experience in a news environment.
• Genuine interest in sports; experience covering sports is a plus.
• Availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
