Expansion Investment Manager - RISE Fund - Remote

Overview

The Investment Manager at Tether holds end-to-end accountability for investment execution related to the Tether expansion team. This role operates at the intersection of Tether's strategic investment agenda and the venture ecosystem, leading strategic expansion investment transactions from origination through close. The Investment Manager anchors the due diligence process, prepares and presents to the VP of Global Expansion and the Investment Committee (IC), and drives post-investment monitoring and value creation across the portfolio.

In Short

• Lead the full lifecycle of investment transactions from term sheet through close.
• Design and drive the end-to-end due diligence process.
• Author and own Investment Committee memoranda.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned portfolio companies post-close.
• Drive the build-out and continuous improvement of Tether RISE fund’s Investment operating infrastructure.
• Contribute directly to the maturation of the RISE fund platform.
• Mentor junior team members and support talent development.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support Reporting Team with monitoring of financial and operational KPIs.
• Ensure alignment with RISE fund's risk appetite and return thresholds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• CFA charterholder or CAIA designation required.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of venture and growth-stage investment dynamics.
• Full professional proficiency in English required.
