Staff Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Data Store - Remote

Overview

We’re hiring a Staff Software Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cloud Data Store team, where we’re reimagining cloud storage and building a customized persistence layer tailored specifically for Temporal. We’re solving hard distributed systems problems related to databases and the way storage works for the cloud.

• Build systems that optimize cloud use and scale for expansion.

• Perform design reviews for infrastructure scalability and reliability.

• Drive alignment across the organization and contribute to roadmaps.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud, compute, networking, and storage infrastructure.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• 7 years of coding experience (Go, Python, Java).
• Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Pulumi, Terraform).
• Kubernetes management experience is essential.
• Experience working with databases.
