Staff DevOps Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Lead the DevOps team to enhance engineering efficiency and safety.
• Own the infrastructure, security posture, and tooling for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with other teams to manage dependencies and align priorities.
• Drive adoption of team deliverables and ensure they are utilized by engineering teams.
• Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable tasks.
• Manage capacity and balance reactive and proactive work effectively.
• Set technical direction and make architectural decisions on infrastructure.
• Contribute hands-on by writing and reviewing infrastructure code.
• Own incident response and reliability across a distributed environment.
• Foster a culture of self-serve infrastructure ownership among engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Staff or Senior DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineer.
• Deep expertise in managing distributed, microservice architectures.
• Strong AWS experience and familiarity with other cloud providers.
• Experience with serverless infrastructure and scripting skills.
• Track record of managing delivery processes effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
