Overview

As a Sales Development Manager at Tekmetric, you will build, train, and mentor a team of sales development representatives to drive growth and exceed sales quotas.

In Short

  • Lead generation through various strategies including outbound cold calling.
  • Liaison for potential customers during their buying journey.
  • Build and refine lead information in a CRM.
  • Provide details to the sales team for tailored demos.
  • Ensure exceptional service for potential customers.
  • Coach and train new Sales Development Representatives.
  • Define and track key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support sales development activities.
  • Conduct regular team meetings for feedback and coaching.
  • Share insights with sales leadership to optimize team performance.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years of experience managing SDRs / BDRs.
  • 2+ years as an Inside Sales / Business Development Representative.
  • Experience closing new business is a plus.
  • Expertise in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven track record of hiring and ramping SDRs.
  • Experience in coaching salespeople.
  • Exceptional listening skills and empathy.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to manage a remote and in-person team.
