Overview

As a Sales Development Manager, you'll develop, lead, coach, and inspire a team of SDRs to meet defined business development goals via prospecting and generating quality SQLs to support sales Account Executives in closing revenue-generating deals.

In Short

  • Coach and mentor a team of 6-12 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Provide ongoing coaching and analyze conversion metrics to improve individual and team effectiveness.
  • Utilize advanced leadership techniques and performance reviews to help representatives achieve quota.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on products and customers.
  • Train new representatives on the sales process.
  • Hire top talent and expand the SDR organization.
  • Develop trusting relationships with representatives.
  • Assess team strengths and weaknesses to manage the sales program.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an SDR or SDR team lead.
  • Effective communicator, sales coach, and motivator.
  • Solid project management and business development skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Excel, and sales enablement platforms.
  • SaaS and/or FinTech experience is a plus.
