Overview

TechnologyAdvice is looking for an Engineering Manager, Web to lead a team of web developers and engineers focused on building world-class, high-performance websites that drive our audience and business growth.

In Short

Lead and manage a team of developers, ensuring high-quality execution of projects.
Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with the Audience Technology roadmap.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications and platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and priorities.
Ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
Guide architectural decisions and lead code reviews.
Monitor and optimize website performance.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentorship.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in web development and engineering, including 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven success leading cross-functional development teams.
Experience managing a portfolio of websites.
Strong technical expertise in modern web technologies.
Proficient in working with APIs and cloud-based architectures.
Experience with WordPress APIs and headless CMS implementations.
Deep understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Experience managing development workflows and Agile methodologies.
Familiar with SSR, SSG, and composable architecture principles.
Knowledgeable in conversion rate optimization strategies.
