In Short

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for advanced wireless network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex RF and fixed wireless equipment issues.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support technicians.
  • Ensure all fixed wireless equipment in the network is appropriately maintained, up-to-date, and fully operational.
  • Respond to and manage network emergencies and service-impacting incidents.
  • Optimize network performance and support the development of proactive monitoring solutions.
  • Analyze trends in network issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support new installations, upgrades, and expansion efforts.
  • Improve the use of existing monitoring tools and assist in evaluating new solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of network infrastructure, issues, resolutions, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Tier 3 or senior-level ISP technical support.
  • Extensive knowledge of fixed wireless platforms: Cambium, Ubiquiti, Tarana, Baicells.
  • Strong understanding of RF theory, wireless networking, and broadband service delivery.
  • Experience with network monitoring systems (e.g., SNMP, NetXMS, The Dude, etc.).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to train and guide support staff.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to respond to urgent network issues outside of regular working hours.
