Finance Support Officer - Remote

Overview

The Finance Support Officer will provide administrative support to the Finance function, managing accounts payable activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.

In Short

• Update and maintain the Pronto database for accurate accounts payable administration.
• Review and verify documentation for timely payments to creditors.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and financial legislation.
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain cash position worksheets.
• Assist in completing monthly BAS and PAYG statements.
• Manage supplier creation and ensure accuracy of supplier information.
• Assist with the monthly accrual process.
• Completion of work orders in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Experience with ERP accounting software, particularly Pronto.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative and finance support roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
