Manager, Operations (West Branch) - Remote

Overview

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Manager, Operations to join TR's Programs x Domestic Operations - West Branch team! This Manager will lead a motivated team of associates, provide support to volunteer leaders in daily execution of the goals and objectives of the organization. This requires a detailed understanding of all specific functions within the Operations Department. This Manager will be assigned geographic areas to build and motivate teams.

In Short

• Manage the assigned budget, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and financial goal achievement.
• Provide leadership and team management by supervising, mentoring and developing assigned staff.
• Evaluate individual staff and team performance and make decisions to improve productivity.
• Execute purchasing and expenses per the Branch budget plan.
• Assist with planning and budgeting in line with operational tempo.
• Support personnel recruitment, deployment, and well-being in all aspects of the disaster cycle.
• Assist in developing QCPC team goals and provide specific feedback.
• Support Volunteer Management in resolving personnel conflicts.
• Lead the leadership lifecycle program, including recruiting and developing volunteer leaders.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration or related field preferred.
• Proven record of personnel management experience.
• Proficient with technology tools and in remote working.
• Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired.
